FOUNDER
Attorney Rebecca Ding-Lee
Attorney at Law | Founder
Attorney Rebecca Ding-Lee is the founder of Ding-Lee Law LLC. She earned an LL.M. from the University of Alabama School of Law and previously earned a master’s degree in law from Central China Normal University. She was admitted to the Alabama State Bar in 2011 and is also admitted to the U.S. District Court for the Northern, Middle, and Southern Districts of Alabama.
Her legal background in both China and the United States provides a cross-cultural perspective, particularly valuable in immigration matters. Attorney Ding-Lee represents individuals, families, and businesses in a broad range of immigration matters, including family- and employment-based immigration, visas and adjustment of status, citizenship and naturalization, and removal defense. She also defends immigrants and lawful permanent residents facing criminal charges.
An immigrant herself, Attorney Ding-Lee came to the United States, built her professional life here, and has been fortunate to achieve her own American Dream. That experience has shaped both her understanding of immigrant families and her approach to practicing law.
Attorney Ding-Lee believes effective legal representation begins with careful preparation, clear communication, and a genuine commitment to each client’s unique situation. In criminal matters, she draws on both criminal and immigration law to assess how even certain misdemeanor convictions may create a risk of removal. She has helped clients obtain favorable outcomes while developing defense strategies that account for those immigration consequences. She takes time to understand her clients’ goals, explain the law and available options, and develop strategies tailored to their needs.
